VOILA DESSERT & EATERY sits along Jl. Jend. A Yani in Ambon’s Kel Batu Meja neighborhood, shaping up as a vibrant cafe spot with a distinct pink and floral theme that clearly draws in those who appreciate a visually engaging atmosphere. This is not just a place to grab a quick coffee but somewhere locals come to linger, snap photos, and enjoy a varied menu that mixes familiar Indonesian flavors with contemporary café offerings.

Inside, the bright pink hues and flower accents create a cozy yet playful vibe. It’s clear from the setup — including a second-floor photo studio space — that the cafe caters to a crowd that values aesthetics almost as much as the food and drink. The air conditioning offers relief from Ambon’s tropical heat, making it comfortable for longer stays whether chatting with friends or settling in for some quiet time.

The menu reflects a blend of casual favorites and more carefully crafted dishes. You’ll find Indonesian staples like bakmi goreng alongside options like a spicy crispy dory or the Salmon Bowl, balancing both comfort and trendier café fare. Drinks take a fresh direction, with choices such as Ramadhan Special Dates Frappio, honey lemonade, and sparkling mango — perfect for cooling down in the afternoon heat or pairing with a light meal.

Parking can be a bit tight here, so locals often come by motorbike or plan ahead if driving. Inside, the friendly staff maintain a smooth service pace, supporting a relaxed hangout vibe rather than a hurried café experience.

VOILA caters well to a diverse crowd: those looking for a stylish spot to meet friends, Instagram buffs hunting for photogenic backdrops, and food lovers who enjoy a menu that bridges local dishes with modern café staples. The best times to visit are likely mid-mornings to early afternoons, especially on weekends when the space feels lively but not overwhelming.

Overall, VOILA DESSERT & EATERY fits comfortably into the Ambon café scene as a place where you can combine a casual meal, a refreshing drink, and a touch of local personality — all wrapped in a bright, airy setting that invites you to stay a while.

Tempatnya instagramable sekali. Kesan pinki dan coquette bikin jadi betah disana. Makannya disana juga enak, namum cukup pricey, tapi so far so good lah yaaa. Makan sambil took a couple of photo.

Salah satu resto yang membuat hidup di Ambon jadi lebih menyenangkan. Saya sudah menjadi langganan sejak setahun yang lalu. Sekarang dengan tempat baru yang lebih luas, dan kualitas makanan yang oke banget. Where do I start? Pizza nya enak, makanan indonesia nya enak, croissant sandwich nya superb, cheese cake nya to die for! Oat milk available guys, so for you lactose intolerant girly, bakal aman banget mesen minuman yg bersusu.

the ambience and food are really nice! the combination of pinkish and flowery decorations is a lovely touch! the only downside is the limited parking space — it’s fine if you come by motorcycle, but it can be abit of problem if you’re driving a car.

Very great. Nice and clean decorations with a lots of flowers and pink hint. Upper floor there is a studio photo. The staff are kind and helpful. One thing, if there is WIFI... it would be complete. The air conditioner work perfectly. The food are delicious also, thats why this should be a recommended place for hang out.

Wth, me and my mother went to here with her friends and WOW the food is absolutely DELICIOUS, Delicious Noodles , Delicious Burger , Everything's delicious, you have to go here as its has very delicious food, the employees are friendly and joyful along with quick service, although the air is a bit cold and dry, but nothing significant, and to top it off, you can take selfies at the second floor of the building, im not sure if you can go here since this place is owned by one of my mothers friends but still, i recommend you go here

If you’re looking for an instagrammable café in Ambon, Voila Dessert & Café is definitely one of the top choices. The ambience is very girly, dominated by pink tones and floral decorations, making it visually appealing and photo-worthy. The food and drinks are modern, similar to what you’d usually find in Jakarta-style cafés. The café itself is relatively small. I visited shortly after their reopening post-renovation, and although it’s said to be slightly bigger now, it still feels quite compact. When the place gets crowded, it can become rather noisy and less comfortable for dining. Food & drinks: The presentation is attractive and well done. Taste-wise, it’s good and enjoyable, though not particularly outstanding. The menu options are quite varied; however, during my visit, several items listed on the menu were not yet available—possibly due to the recent reopening. The waiting time for food and drinks was a bit long. While it was busy, the waiting time could be improved to avoid guests feeling bored. Service: The waiters were fairly friendly by Ambon standards (haha, you know what I mean). That said, some staff gave explanations that were a bit too long, almost as if directing us on what to order, when we were simply asking for recommendations. Desserts: The cake selection is quite nice and tasty—good enough to satisfy cravings for cakes. Parking: Parking is one of the main issues. Space is very limited, and the café is located right on a busy main road. If you want to avoid the hassle, it’s better to come using Grab or other ride-hailing services. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the food, drinks, and service at Voila Dessert & Café. Wishing Voila continued success!
